Software Engineer

Grab

Built systems(microservices) for identity and compliance platforms of Grab payments division. Built on boarding platforms for external and internal partners to integrate with GrabPay and helped with the scaling of the underlying systems. Developed a generic JSON based Rule Engine in Go to easily handle the ever changing compliance requirements of various countries in South East Asia.

Gathered requirements, created requirement specifications, developed prototypes and ensured end-to-end delivery (Agile Methodology) of a Dedupe system for a renowned financial firm. Researched and developed Single Sign On (SSO) module for a renowned financial firm. Developed a Decision Support System extending over ElasticSearch and Kibana with end to end ownership of the product. Delivered a proof of concept for NLP based search for a US based client.

Interests

Apart from being a software engineer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. I enjoy hiking, cycling, and kayaking.

When forced indoors, I follow a number of crime and thriller genre movies and television shows, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technology advancements in the backend development world.

Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy

Performed clustering and classification on features extracted from fundus images of the retina to detect the extent of spread of diabetic retinopathy. Programming Languages / Frameworks- Python, Caffe, MATLAB

Extracted data related to diseases from Twitter along with locations. Performed sentimental analysis to capture tweets talking about ill effects of disease demographically.
